We built this electric heater for the places where silence and precision actually matter. Think plant floors where the noise of a fan would drive you crazy, or processes that demand heat you can trust down to the degree. It’s a compact infrared heater, designed to slip right into your setup and deliver heat where you need it—without the mechanical rattle that comes with fans or blowers.
What’s Under the Hood
At the heart of it is a 300mm quartz tube. We kept it short on purpose: so it fits into tight spots and heats up fast. This thing runs at 2500W and 400V—serious power. That means it ramps up to temperature quickly, but it also means you need a control circuit that can handle the load, and a chassis with enough cooling around it. The design keeps thermal mass low, so the response time stays snappy.
Materials and Design Choices
We filled the quartz envelope with halogen gas and added a reflective coating. That coating does two jobs: it focuses the infrared heat forward so you’re not wasting energy, and it helps keep the filament temperature steady—so hot spots don’t form and shorten the life. For the connections, we used an R7s connector. It’s secure, built for high heat, and holds up when things get shaky. It also makes wiring easier, even in cramped panels. And the quiet part is simple: there are no fans, no bearings. Nothing to wear out, nothing to make noise.
Where It Shines
This heater is a natural fit for jobs like PET blowing, pre-heating plastic, and sealing packaging—anywhere you need clean, directional heat. The footprint is small, so you can drop it into existing tooling without a major redesign. You get fast start-up, steady output, and installation that doesn’t feel like a headache. Just keep one thing in mind: the heat flux is high, so you’ll want to plan for thermal management around the tube and leave enough clearance to protect nearby components.
