It gives you quick, focused warmth exactly where you need it—no fuss, no wasted energy heating an entire building.
What Makes It Tick
It all comes down to the power. A typical 2500W, 400V halogen tube packs a serious punch in a small space. It pulls its power straight from a solid industrial supply, so you get that intense heat without the bulk. The 300mm tube length is a big part of why it works so well. It concentrates the heat into a tight, precise spot. You’re not wasting energy spreading warmth all over the place. You’re getting it right where you need it, fast. But that kind of power also means the inside has to be tough. The circuitry and switches are all built to handle that constant, heavy-duty work. No flimsy parts here.
Built to Last
We use a quartz halogen tube with a reflective coating. That coating does two jobs: it focuses the infrared energy forward and shields the heating element. And the connection? We went with the R7s two-pin ceramic connector. It’s a proven design that can handle the serious heat at the ends of the tube and gives you a rock-solid electrical connection, every single time. The result is a replacement lamp that’s a simple drop-in, easy to wire, and stays perfectly aligned inside the reflector.
Real-World Use
When you flip it on, the heat is instant. That’s the beauty of infrared. It’s perfect for drying a spot quickly, pre-heating a part before you work on it, or just keeping your hands warm when the temperature drops.
