The Power Under the Hood
Here’s the quick version: it’s a 2500W unit, running on 400V, all packed into a 300mm tube. That voltage choice is a smart move. It keeps the current lower for the same power, which means you don’t need oversized wiring, and you avoid those frustrating energy losses in a fixed setup. And that short tube? It gives you a tiny footprint, yes. But more importantly, it concentrates all that heat into a tight spot. The result is intense heat density, but you just have to plan your machine design around managing that focused thermal load.
What It’s Made Of
The heart of the heater is a halogen-filled quartz tube. We went with quartz because it handles wild temperature swings without breaking a sweat, keeping the element stable through everything. The halogen cycle is another quiet hero—it fights off filament blackening over time, so the output stays steady and reliable. Then there’s the R7s connector. It’s a simple, two-pin setup that makes the whole thing a plug-and-play replacement. No messing with custom terminal blocks. Just wire it up, and you’re good to go.
Where It Shines
This heater is your go-to for jobs that demand speed. We’re talking rapid heating on moving lines, softening plastic, or curing a specific spot. Because it runs on shortwave, it just gets absorbed more efficiently by many organic materials. That means you hit your target temperature way faster than with longer-wave options.
